Interactive Gaming Council
Representing the interactive gaming industry, the IGC acts as the world spokesperson for casinos and gamblers everywhere from New Zealand to the UK.
The Interactive Gaming Council (IGC) has a very clear goal, and that is to ensure customer and government trust in the gambling industry by creating, negotiating and enforcing strict codes of business practice.
To achieve this, the IGC employs many powerful tools, for example the Code of Advertising - an official code of practice that is accepted by all member sites in which they declare that they will only provide accurate advertising.
The IGC also acts as a collective voice for the online gambling industry and negotiates between players and casinos in the instance of a dispute. They also attempt to find solutions to complex problems that face the interactive gaming community, such as legalisation and regulation in states like as New Zealand.
Most of all, the IGC tries to find ways to ensure fair and responsible gambling, so that players are protected and receive decent odds of success, while the casinos they play at are still able to make a profit.
