New Zealand Gambling Commission

The Commission hears casino licensing applications, and appeals on licensing and enforcement decisions.
The Gambling Act 2003 has established an independent statutory decision-making body - the New Zealand Gambling Commission.

The NZGC hears casino licensing applications, and appeals on licensing and enforcement decisions made by the Secretary of Internal Affairs in relation to gaming machines and other non-casino gambling activities.

The Commission's Website includes a detailed description of the functions of the Commission, the policies in place, application and other forms, past decisions and of course the Gambling Act 2003 language itself.
