Craps

An ancient game of dice whose roots can be traced back to the days of the Crusaders.

History

Craps owes its creation to the Crusaders, who were probably bored during their long journeys. Later on, the game became a French classic and received the flirty name Crapaud (later Craps), which means toad. 1000 years after its birth, Craps reached the US and was an instant hit.

Bets

There are 2 different types of Craps bets:

  • Betting against other players - Street Craps
  • Betting against the banker - Bank Craps

Bank Craps

This type of bet means playing against the casino, which covers player bets and decides what the odds will be regarding payouts.

  1. The game begins by players rolling two dice in turns
  2. The "shooter" is the player who is currently rolling the dice
  3. Players standing around the table can bet on the shooters rolls
  4. This continues for several rounds of bets
